I think we may be inching closer to a deal. It will depend on the dealer though. I want them to handle everything, my trade and the financing. Then at least they'll earn their money.

Yesterday the guy was giving me grief on my trade and wanted me to sell the car on my own. If I manage to do that and I get my own financing then I might as well deal directly with you. Would you still have to commission those guys?

 

I told them I want 70K for it. They want to make 5K on it. They are supposed to change the price to 75K.

If someone buys directly through me, then I simply remove it off there lot and I owe only owe them $300.

so let me know so I can remove off the lot if you sell your car.

The ball is rolling. I'm waiting on a few quotes from different lenders. The pain in the butt will be trying to get rid of my car at the moment. Also, do you know anyone that will quote a lease for your car?

Yes, definately something we can work with. I'm waiting on a couple of finance offers, but we should be able to solidfy the deal by tomorrow. Looks like I'm going to drive the M5 up north this weekend. Fred, can you recommend a nice hotel in the area? It doesn't have to be posh as I'll have my 7 year old son with me. As long as he can hook up his PS2 to the TV, he should be fine.
