Just turn the boost control off and run this car at 480rwhp. If you ever got to the point you wanted more power just turn boost up to 1.1 bar run pump gas at 550rwhp. And at that point you would still be able to run 1.5 bar with race gas and have 730rwhp.
Sounds like a win/win to me.

It's a crappy market for high end cars. I am trying to sell my nicely modded SL55 AMG car right now, It's perfect inside/out, runs flawless and has a warranty, and the car is an absolute rocket with the work I have in her...and I'm getting killed out there, I've got ads on like 3 forums, craigslist, autotrader, cars.com and running an ebay auction w/ lowered reserve.... people either just don't have money or they lowball like crayze

Good luck on the SL55.

I am in the market for a 911, and have been watching primarily 997 Turbos and GT3's. Your car is quite sharp, and I appreciate the tasteful mods. This would not be my first Porsche....but it would be my first in 20 years. I got the muscle car bug...but am now over that....and my garage is empty.
I would appreciate your candid advise on a few matters.
1. Can this car be registered in CA?
2. Is this car capable of being driven daily on the road with 91 octane?
If yes to both I am interested.

Since Eric has not chimed in yet, yes, this car can run on 91. Either turn down the boost one click, or have it dataloged and send the file to the tuner (Todd Knighten the mad Scientist). It should only cost $500 for a new tune.
Erics' car and my similarly modded GT2 pass inspection when evaluated from the OBD port (again, the Mad Scientist enables this). In Texas that is all you need to do.
Not sure if this car has cats, which you will need to pass CA emisions, which I believe requires a sniff test. 200 cels should get it done.

Thanks for getting back to me about the car. I think that this car is more than I am looking for as far as a frequently driven street car, that rarely would see track use. I have been advised to turn my search down to 996/7 Turbos...and at the furthest a GT3......
Probably is good advice.
