Seller's Notes: 2006 Maserati Quattroporte, All Maseratis are still essentially hand built in the Modena factory, where only 16 are still hand built per day. Every luxury you could expect from Pininfarinas unmistakably Italian and stylish design is standard: dualzone climate controls, six airbags, an elegant analog clock, drilled aluminum pedals, carbon fiber, Poltrona Frau hides, and more.The double overhead cam 4.3liter V8 is supplied by Ferrari up the road in Maranello and used in every Maserati. The GT Quattroports rated at 400 bhp at 7,250 rpm, and 333 pound feet of torque at 4,750 rpm (over 75% of the maximum torque is available at just 2,500 rpm). This Sport GT features a 5speed MDS (Maserati DuoSelect) transmission, automatic or manual, (with manual paddle shifters on the steering wheel). These Sport GT transmissions are geared for 35% quicker gear changes. This Sport GT uses an adjustable four wheel independent suspension, with anti dive and anti squat geometries. This is a low mileage Italian sports car (the fastest sedan in the world), and in immaculate condition. Suspension settings are activated via on dash buttons, and feature Normal and Sport modes. All mechanically working in as new order (only 32+k miles on it!) In either setting, the suspension is designed to confidently eat up the miles on long or short journeys, and in comfort. Steering is properly weighted and quick, body roll is minimal, and the cars balance is as good as it gets. Maserati mounts the engine behind the front axle center line and places the transmission in the rear of the car to achieve a 47/53 weight distribution. This results in a car eager to change direction. On a mountain road north of Modena, the Sport GT feels half its size. This car is a must see.
