I just picked one up with 16k miles, bad timing. Would have been all over this one.

Didn't 2004 GT2's come with carbon fiber front vent, side mirrors and rear wing blade? Did you remove these?

They did not. Many chose to add them though.

You have been trying to sell this car for 2 years. What's your opinion as to why the car hasn't been sold? Just curious since it truly is a rare and gorgeous car. I just wish I had garage room.

Likely because on the "other site" an '03 with 17K had an asking price of $75,000 and just had a deposit taken....no way to know the actual transaction price but for whatever reason the GT-2 which (IMHO) should fetch a ransom can be had at a fairly reasonable price

OP's car is a year "younger" and simply stunning...

04-05, may have been an option, thought it came standard....

From Porsche Press Release Archives:

The carbon was an option. The 456hp listed in the window sticker is curious, though. Maybe these '04 changes weren't rolled over until mid manufacture year '04. Not sure how else to make sense of it...it's from Porsche lol, it can't be wrong right?

I thought abs 5.7 was PSM capable? Gt2s have no PSM that I'm aware of.
