With a heavy heart I am making the Prelude available for purchase to make room for a new car order. My father, thesecond owner, meticulously cared for the car over the last ~70k miles and I have provided the same over the last 29k. Look through the pics, you will not find a cleaner STOCK UNMODIFIED example of a 5th generation Prelude anywhere. It defies time as it shows and drives like a car with half the miles. Any of my friends that have seen it can vouch for my attention to care and the car's condition. If you are looking for a well-kept Prelude at a great price, you have found your car. Title in hand.

As with any car with this many miles there are typical wear items that can be expected. However, you will not findanother Prelude with this many miles in this condition. The parking brake sensor needs replaced (for the dash light) but parking brake is fully functional, can be fixed with part #47342-SV4-003, which is about six dollars. There is a quarter-sized dent in the right rear quarter and correctable by PDR. The valve cover has paint flaking off at some spots which is typical of the B and H series motors. It's very common for these cars to go well into the 200k-mile plus territory and beyond. Search around cars, autotrader, craigslist, etc. and you will not find a nicer Prelude.

Good luck with the sale. Had a red 1998 that I leased new years ago. One of the few cars that I've missed over the years. Great, underrated car! Wish there were more of them around that weren't abused. I believe the green cars were the only ones that came with the light colored interior, at least in 98.

Also from VA and I've had alot of cars since my 1998 Honda Prelude SH. It was silver and I had a simple little OEM body kit with intake, headers & exhaust with some H&R springs and that things was awesome to drive. I beat the **** out of that car when I was younger and never had one issue. This is a very clean car and i'd grab it if I was in the market for a fun economical daily driver. GLWS!
