New to 6speed
I'm looking to make a strait trade from my restored 1973 911T Targa to a late model Cayenne turbo or similar. Here is the info:
The car has all new paint, interior, new custom Cerullo race seats, new seat belts, rebuilt motor, new rubber throughout, re-chromed bright work, rebuilt brakes, new Bilsteins all around, rebuilt trans, original restored Fuchs rally wheels, and much more. It's an early 73 so it has the MFI (mechanical fuel injection) also rebuilt, this gives these cars a unique well sought after exhaust tune that no other Porsche has. The engine was a complete tear down rebuild. The restoration is custom not factory, so some things are not original. The paint color is a period correct "Mexican Blue", it's nicely done and looks like wet glass. The original color was what like to call "diarrhea brown" so I changed it. The bumpers were smoothed instead of using the original big chrome rubber trim, it's a more modern look but still has the vintage feel. I've had it for about 15 years and just recently finished about a two year restoration. You will not need to touch anything on this car to drive it, but there are (as with any older car) more things to tinker with, all the wiring is original (it all works it's just old) etc.... This car gets left in front of valet every time, the closer you look the better it gets. Every year this car goes up in value, I spent about 40K on the restoration, before that who knows, misc parts here and there. Thanks for looking, more info available upon request.
