It's time to part w/ my pristine 2005 997S Launch Car.
I've owned it for over six (6) years (March 2007). I'm the second owner.
The car has had all the Porsche maintenance actions and/or recalls required for that manufacturing build.
I'm sort of **** about my car(s). This 997S is not my primary car and thus it gets driven mainly on weekends and/or to car events. I've put almost 20K miles on her in the 6+ years. It's never sat outside my garage at night, never valet parked and I'll walk 1/4 mile to find the 'perfect' parking space. Do you think I'm ****?
I've attached the details in the PDF file & some photos of the car for review. I've made subtle or refined modifications as you will note.
There are no stories, issues or accidents. I have all the service records and receipts for the time I've owned the car. This car is as perfect as a 2005 997S can be. The PCCB's as you might know are a $9K option and should last the life of the car.
I'm an avid PCA member as well.
I will sell it for $46.5K just the way the car sits including two (2) new (unmounted) Michelin PS2 rear tires (295/30-19). The tires alone cost $1K.
I'm located in Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.

I'm going to test drive a Cayman S tomorrow just to see if that works for me. I owned a 986 Boxster S years ago but the new Cayman S is supposed to dynamite according to reviews.
It really 'loved' my 'Launch Car' and I experienced mixed emotions selling it. However, I owned for over 6 years and it was time to move on. It was a 'bullet-proof' car considering it was Porsche's first 997 offering. My buyer fell in love w/ it as well and promised to take great care of it. I'm now searching for a 2011 911 GTS. Must be white/black w/ PDK.
