The stock transmission is what's making me not want this car. It seems to be the single weak point, everything else it great. But I can't help to think the transmission is going to go at anytime. Especially if it's driven the way it should be at this power level!

A valid concern, however the way the car is currently setup and tuned took the stock transmission and overall reliability well into consideration. Thus the current tune is very conservative running only 18lbs (most stage III cars are pushing 21-24psi on pump gas.) Additionally, the car has the upgraded torque converter so it can easily handle all the power. I've daily driven this car for over a year, with lots of spirited driving, and I've never had one single hiccup transmission related or otherwise. If the car is driven appropriately and not repeatedly launched or abused I honestly don't think it would become an issue for the new owner.

Lots of interest at this point but unfortunately the majority of "buyers" have been all talk and no action. With that being said, I've lowered the price to $16,000 OBO which is a great deal for this particular car considering the overall condition and amount of work done.

Plus you are in Reno! We just bought a house there, looking for a winter awd car to keep there so my wife isn't stuck all the time when I go mtn biking or skiing. I am going to show this to her. Probably out of our budget for this application but let's see what she says.
