In the world of real estate 4 months on the market and no sale means time to re think the evaluation. Time has passed these cars by and the ruf name has lost its luster since the glorious 80's when there were a handful of tuners around the globe. Now every city has a tuner/builder that can build solid power and reliability. Add in antiquated old school 993 handling, who knows what paint, not a factory build, and not so rare c2 chassis and you have a car worth $40-50 k IMHO.

thanks
thanks for the bump....
Car stops on a dime, power to weight ratio great, pss9 adj coil overs make the car handle better then stock, nothing compared to todays driving assists but for someone that enjoys a real driving experience this car is nothing short of amazing... nice C2S's with low miles are selling for $$$$ and we have all seen the 993TT market, this more rare then both combined.....No rush to sell as not broke and enjoyed the car through the summer months.... and not sure how much real estate you own (I own a lot but many places I bought and sold were on the market for more then 4 months. ... RUF has far from lost its luster to many but seems like it has to you and that is OK. 40-50k, ahhhhhh a base c2 (none S) with 35K miles sells more then this....The 993tt engine with RUF Turbo R Conversion alone cant be had for 40K nor 50K these days, just the motor... passed on offers starting with a 9 already as again not desperate; that said its end of the season where I live so have some flexibility... The right buyer will take some time and I have that. Thanks for your creative input though, I think....

Yes you are right. I think I was a bit harsh on the valuation. If you must have a Ruf I guess a Ruf is akin to what pheasant shooting was worth to Hemmingway, and he famously stated, "what ever you have to pay for it".
DuPont, pca , and excellence might work as well.

end of season
Enjoyed for the summer but time to sell as the cold is rolling in around here in New England, so open to reasonable offers and just updated price adjustment on page one... Thanks....

It's a for sale post, you should keep your dbag comments to yourself. You don't like the offer? Move on like a civilized person.
I'm the one who just neg rep'd you.
