Looking for 996 911 Project Car
Greetings all,
been seeing a lot of threads the last year or so about the 911 996 engine problems (IMS bearing, head gaskets etc..) and all the carnage that has been passed onto their owners. Been fighting the urge to pick one up with a blown engine for a project car, the time appears to have arrived.
So, my question becomes...anyone here have or know of a friend/shop/place selling a non-turbo 1999-2004 911 with a manual transmission and a blown, missing or damaged engine? Found lots in the US, but would rather buy from Ontario or at least within Canada if possible. Please PM me if so!
