WTB: 2004 or 2005 996 Turbo Coupe Manual

Year: 2005
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $60000
Mileage: 60000
Color: White
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD

Hello. I'm looking for a 2004 or 2005 996 Turbo coupe (non-X50, X50, or Turbo S) with a manual transmission. I'm looking for white, silver, gray, or black. I'm not interested in yellow, red, or blue (I was seriously considering a speed yellow Turbo S, but just couldn't do it since I'll be using the car as a daily driver and will be parking it at a medical center). I'd prefer a car with less than 60k miles and priced less than $60k. I'd also prefer a stock car with maintenance records and preferably in Southern California for an easier transaction. I'm a serious buyer with cash in hand. I am not in a rush and will wait for an ideal car. Please don't contact me with 2001-2003 cars, cabriolets, and/or tiptronic transmissions. Thank you!

Have you thought about 997TT?
With that budget you're approaching 997TT territory.

I have a 2005 Turbo S Cab in Polar Metallic Silver with manual trans and 25k miles. $60k sounds about right. I'm in Atlanta. All service records available and I am the second owner and purchased from the original dealership. PM for more details if interested.

The 997 turbos I've seen for the low $60k range seem to have issues (lack of maintenance records/unknown or spotty history, accidents/repaint, or higher mileage/lots of wear and tear, etc.). I would only pay up to $60k for an excellent condition, well-documented 996 turbo s coupe with a manual transmission.

But thanks for the heads up. I will definitely keep an eye out for 997 turbos as well. It definitely seems like they're coming down in price, which is causing a downward pressure on 996 turbos. You keeping your budget to $45k or less for a 996 turbo probably more accurately reflects the market value.

Thanks, but I'm not interested in cabriolets as indicated in my original post.

I'm still looking. Anyone thinking about selling their car? I'm ready to buy right now. Thanks!

I have not seen any 2004+ 996TT's that are not turbo cabs, I was genuinely asking the question to a friend a few weeks ago if they even MADE

1. Couple turbos post 2004
2. post 2004 Turbo S cars that are NOT cabs

I have looked at a few later 996TT S cars that are cabs, and while it's one of the few convertibles I would consider, I just can't do it.. I'm not a convertible guy.

good luck with your search...

Thanks. I know 2004 and 2005 Turbo and Turbo S coupes with manual transmissions are out there (I checked out a 2004 Turbo coupe and a 2005 Turbo S coupe before). I just need to find an owner who wants to sell their car.
