Great ride, that engine is a beast and virtually indestructible. I had an '88 735i 5-speed back in the day that I sold with just under 100k miles on it, which I guess is very similar to this car mechanically. It was very reliable and was an overall very pleasurable ownership experience.

 

I owned a 1987 gray/burgundy otherwise the same=loved it.
