I am the third owner
First owner was in NY, Second was in CT – I spoke with both of the prior owners at length prior to purchase. Car was never tracked prior to my ownership, had never been damaged (on or off insurance). It had been broken into and had its navigation system stolen (replaced with standard radio). It had never been driven in the snow (under carriage is 100% rust and corrosion free, all bolts come right undone with proper force, not an east coast road salt mess)
I am considering selling the car, but have put in astronomical amounts of money into turning it into what it is today so am putting out a feeler to see if I should just put it in storage or sell it.
The car was built to be a weekend / track day car.
I purchased the car last April and have done the following since:
Maintenance:
All fluids changed (oil, power steering, coolant, transmission, differential, brakes/clutch)
• Inspected Vanos tabs – no damage at all on hub or tabs (see following post for picture)
• Did valve adjustment – new valve cover gasket
• Replaced Cabin Air filter
• Replaced spark plugs
• Replaced serpentine belt
• Replaced battery
• Replaced engine mounts
• Replaced transmission mounts
• Replaced vanos filter
• New brake pressure sensor 2
• Rebuilt rear calipers
• New ebrake pads
• 2 new 02 sensors
Track-Day Build:
Chassis
• TCDesign half cage
o If you don’t know TCDesign you should research them – best cage and track car builder in the country for M3’s and Porsches
• Reinforced rear subframe
• TCDesign corner balance and aligned
Suspension
• Ground Control Track build shocks
• Ground Control FTAB
• Bimmerworld Spherical RTABS
• Bimmerworld rear adjustable camber arm
• Ground Control Race camber plates (front)
• Ground Control Front Sway Bar (race)
• Ground Control Rear Sway Bar (race)
Interior
• Recaro SPG Profi XL drivers Seat
• Recaro SPG Profi passenger Seat
• VAC floor and side mounts on both sides
• Scroth 6 points camlock harnesses (both driver and passenger)
• Custom radio delete
• Custom rear seat delete
• Extended brake and gas pedal
Performance
• UUC clutch
• UUC lightweight flywheel
Braking
• Bimmerworld Carbon brake ducts
• Bimmerworld brake backing plates
o Fully plumbed brake cooling system – just completed this to keep rotor temperature better maintained
• Front Pads: PCF 08 pads, CarboTech XP 10 Pads, Stock pads
• Rear Pads: Performance Friction Street/Track, OEM ZCP Pads
• 2 sets of rotors (ZCP front and back)
• Brass Caliper guides
• Motul RBF 660 fluid (plus lots of spare bottles)
Tires / Wheels
• ZCP rims on Hankook Ventus tires (new tires, but I believe these are replica rims owner said that he had curbed two of the OEMs and replaced them all through his shop)
• OEM 18inch square, painted black, on RS3’s (track day, 70% tread left)
Spares:
• INPA Cable
• All associated BMW tools (diff plug sprocket, fan bolt wrench, valve shim tool)
• Set of rear ZCP calipers
• Full interior
• Suspension / Sway Bars
• Spare pads and rotors
• Spare 02 sensors
• Valve shims
• Oil change kit
• OEM Diff fluid, Brake Fluid, OEM coolant
• Box of OEM spare parts and fasteners (all common issue parts for the car to bring to track)
• Binder of receipts from most purchases / maintenance etc.
4 Imperfections
• ¼ inch dent on hood
• Light scratch on roof – medium compound orbital brushing should knock it out. I only have a light compound
• Right rear inner tire well had a tire blow out and there is paint damage inside the wheel well from it
o I didn’t touch fixing this yet, but if it were a show car I would – you can’t see it unless you look closely
• Like all these cars the power steering hose weeps (doesn’t make it to floor in terms of rate of leak)
Price is $40k. I am open to a discussion on pricing with interested parties via PM.

Rear Subframe was reinforced (via welded plates), then cleaned up, at painted to make sure no oxidation would happen

Willing to keep the Recaros and Scroth belts to reduce the price. I have the mint manual M-texture seats to replace them with.
