Hello,
I am not trying to rip anyone off. I saw a post saying that you could get this wheel cheaper on ebay. I went to ebay and saw for my self that this was true.

I would not try to screw over members when I have met some of you at crystal cove and taken a drive with you guys. That is why I lowered the price $100 lower than the price someone posted on ebay.

I do not have room to store these wheels anywhere, and still need to sell them.

So I if someone wants to pick it up for $600.00 that will be fine.

and yes, I did lower the price from originally $1900, down to $1000, then down to $600. Reason being there is nothing I can do about it if there selling those new wheels on ebay. So yes, I am taking a loss because I did not research on this forum before I bought wheels. As you can see this is only my 5th post.

So let me know if anyone wants to pick it up. I will be out of town on Saturday, but will be available Sunday morning, and evening.

You start off making the wheels sound like they are worth $4400, and offer them at half that price for $2K and at the first balk you are down to $1000 without shipping. The ebay ones are new and include shipping, so with used wheels you are still high. I bought BBS LM wheels in the same size from Highline Wheels new for $700 for 4... I think they sell those same wheels you have too.

Your reason for selling is fuzzy logic too. You spent the money to buy new, and all the cost of mounting and dismounting and if you like them so much, why can't you just keep your stock wheels in the attic or at a "friend in the business" or in a closet or dig a hole and bury them until you sell the car. Hard to believe you would be so motivated to save that little bit of space that you would give up over $1000 to hurry up and free up that space.

The whole thing smells fishy... So potential buyers will hopefully do the homework first... The Internet is great for sharing information, which can be a bad thing for people trying to pull fast ones...

Seems a little odd, not only have these knockoffs been $1,000 or less for over a year now but vividracing ran a special buy on these over on rennlist. Can't remember the price...

I would suspect these are being sold because the fittment looks odd. It will work but doesn't look right

I have a set of highline bbs lm knockoffs,cheap, the quality is good, they are forged and tuv approved.......now the negatives;
the offsets are weird, big red brakes will need spacers (a hassle), they are very heavy 28-30# each. I have used them for snow tires and track tires, much better as a backup/snow rim, forget the track while they are cheap and forged they are way too heavy and will effect the handling significantly. Also ,I think the weird offsets mess with the awd/psm at the track, sending conflicting info to the computer that tries to correct itself constantly, just an observation.
