it is US but the exchange rate changed again so the price is nego

also, i called Porsche USA and there is no problem sending a letter of DOT compliance, no fees, just need the address to where the car is going in the US.

here is a website where someone explains the process for importing a car in the US, the story is a little long but it is funny and entertaining

Interested. I'm guessing you don't have receipts/service history at all?

i'll try to see if we can find the previous owner's title, i beleive this helps with the import process.

Did you have any success finding the previous title or any state side registration documentation?

Thanks!

we did not (importer might have kept it for an unknown reason) but got the information from Porsche USA, all we need is a letter from them (which is free) that will declare the car is legal in the US. I can't get the letter in advance because it needs the adress of where the car is going to be registered (buyer's address) but they did tell me that was not a problem at all and can be asked either by the buyer or the seller.

I miss this car. Was a great daily driver for me for 2 years. In San Francisco, mind you.
