Incredible Lease Assumption on a CT

I just bought an 05 997S, so I'm putting my 04 Cayenne Turbo up for a lease assumption. It's Platinum/Grey, 20" Sport Techno wheels, plus a couple other bells and whistles. It has about 27 months left from a 39 month lease (I've had it a year - I got it with about 18K miles, it now has 34k+ miles, a 11,777/yr mileage allowance, and my lease payment is an incredible $800/mo. I believe the assumption fee is about $500 from the leasing company.

This is a unique opportunity to drive this fantastic SUV VERY CHEAP!! PM message me if you have an interest. I'm sure it will go fast. I live in Ft. Myers, FL.

Who is the leasing company, and can the lease be transferred a second time? Is there any limitation on whether the lease can be transferred to certain states?

Credit Union of Texas, I don't know about a second transfer or if there's a limitation on what state it can be done in? I'd have to check on Monday

since the car is already sold...I figured I'd jump in here...but can someone tell me why this is such a great deal? 11777 miles per year divided by 12 months = 981 miles per month times 39 months = 38275 total miles allowed in the lease. If he's already driven 34k+ miles, that leaves you with 4k+ miles over 27 months of ownership which is around 150 miles per month. I understand that an 800/month payment is nice, but 150 miles per months doesn't sound too good and 4k miles in over 2 years sounds worse. I probably put more miles on during test drives. Are my numbers off? Not trying to ruin the sale or be a dick that's why i waited. I really want to know if I'm miscalculating something.

He said he got the car when it had 18K miles, and then leased it. I don't think he was taking over a previous assumption since it is a 39-month lease that it looks like he started. So he was probably just leasing a pre-owned or used vehicle.

Regardless, it would work out as 34K-18K = 16K. So that allots around 22,000 miles for the remaining 27 months, which comes out to around ~840 miles / month.

A very good deal. This has gotten me all interested and now I am looking at other lease assumptions, but leasetrader.com doesn't have anything even close.

Mike T is correct - it had 18K miles on it when I STARTED my lease - so there was close to 900 miles per month to be driven. Even equally important, was the fact the over miles are at 15 cents per mile, so every 1,000 miles over only cost $150 which is very cheap miles on a $100k vehicle! It was a SMOKING deal at less than $800/mo.

Its ok Scott I know I got a great deal, the CT will replace my V10 Excursion and will not be an every day driver, the money I save on gas alone will cover the mileage cost.

Hey Mono,

Didnt know you bought this one that is a Great Deal, 800/month on a Turbo is phenomenal. If you decided to buy the car much better, did you continue the lease? or you purchased the balance? either way congratz, man!!
