Just so everyone knows, the OP that was selling this car wasnt upfront about the car and wasted Anthony's time. Anthony made a trip out to see the car, but quickly found out that the car was NOT as advertised. The whole front of the car had been repainted, had paint under the hood on the rubber seals and OP couldnt get his story straight on where or who repainted it; hell he couldnt even remember how he paid for it.
In the end, Anthony dodged (no pun intended) a bullet with this one. OP is shady.

And what's ****ed up is that he was trying to scam another fellow 6sp member. Not cool op!
Don't get on here often so just seeing this. Just so you don't believe everything you read in the world, the car front splitters had been damaged and replaced from a barely moving maneuver over a strange speed bump at "breakfast in the garage" event before the supercar on state street yearly event in PA. It was repaired 100% and disclosed to everyone who contacted me, including the current buyer. I did not consider it a big deal, but discounted the price accordingly. Half the cars ive ever owned have had some sort of lower splitter or valence damage, mostly from low driveways or the like. The TA had been lowered and will almost scrape the front from heavy braking.
I have had one of every car you can imagine, including 7 vipers, and can tell you that not a single one of the vipers has had what I consider to be perfect paint. Almost all of them have panels that do not align perfectly, have somewhat less than perfect paint joints and edges, and have some overspray here and there. Some are even in the unacceptable range but most are simply just mediocre. I don't know what to tell you. Its a dodge. Not a Ferrari. But the hood on this particular car had never been repainted.
I love cars but Im a busy person. I cant remember exact dates, locations, paint codes and to be honest can barely find the damn time nowadays to make a post. But not trying to get over on anyone in any way, shape or form. Perhaps the new buyer will chime in on his perception of the vehicle or perhaps not. Either way, I feel like he got a great deal.

I looked over a Gen V at the dealer two weeks ago when I was considering buying one. It was flawless. Also, below is a quote from a Viper owner on Ferrarichat who also owns several other high line cars. I find the OP's response about factory overspray and panel gaps very unlikely.
"The ACR has insanely good overall fit and finish. The 458 looks like it was painted with a paint roller vs the Viper. The Viper literally has NO orange peel. Our car has the $10k worth of stripes..there are no edges. Why the heck can't the other high end brands paint cars like the 'lowly Viper'."

Sorry about your opinion. I've had several gen 5s, 4s, gts and rt-10s personally. Haven't heard from other people but seen personally. Paint and fit and finish vary greatly. Some are good, some are poor. Most don't have perfectly aligning panels, although indistinguishable to most prospective buyers. Nevertheless, car is sold and I can sleep well and so can buyer. All that matters.
Disappointing as this would have sold perfectly fine with everything being disclosed as the price point was about right for a TA with a small issue.
