Actually, curious as I can't seem to confirm that they made a 2002 C4S Cabriolet... I had a coupe but thought the cabriolet was 2004+??
Was this based on a C4 Cabriolet? Thanks!
This car has 996TT brakes.
This car was fully converted including drivetrain and suspension.
I had BBI check out the car before purchase, and they said its fully converted.

OP is the entire body redone? The S is wider than the standard car isn't it? S body similar to turbo body? I like the car but don't know what to make of so I figure out if it's worth it to me or not.
After some research I can't find a C4S cabriolet that year. Thee is a C4. I'm guessing the s doesn't matter since the drive train is gone.

The body was converted. It has turbo suspension. The rear quarter panels are factory porsche oem. The car is 100% converted. As stated by a tech at BBI and the body shop I had it repainted, "this car has been fully converted to turbo spec"
It's painted.
Thanks for interest.

So the rear end is stock turbo width done with OEM Porsche body panels?

Thanks for answering all these questions. It's such a nice and highly modded car I think this information will help find a home more quickly. I'm very interested I'm just trying to get it straight in my head in to think about it.

Yes, the rear end is factory turbo spec done with oem porsche body panels.
One last question on the mileage. Is that the mileage on the ODO, the mileage since it's been reassembled, the mileage on the engine? Was the engine from a donor or was it purchased new for Porsche? At what point was the car converted?
This is really an interesting project. The mods had to cost as much or more than the original car as a C4 cab.
Thanks -Rob

The mileage at 14xxx is on the odometer and on the chassis. When a turbo gauge cluster was put in it was programmed to mileage from Porsche. At the time very few people outside of Porsche had a Piwis, which I believe is the only way to program a new gauge cluster.
The work was done very early into this cars life. I believe this car began its conversion before it had 1500 miles on it.
I'll contact Gemballa and see if anyone can give me more information on the mod.
