1990 Black Coupe restored in 2012/2013
I am selling my 1990 Porsche 911 964 C2 Coupe with 5 speed G50 transmission, limited slip rear end, and front sport seats with perforated leather seating surfaces. The car has about 157K miles, however virtually the entire car has recently been restored, and the car has only been driven about 5,000 miles since the entire restoration about 3 years ago.
The car has never had any accidents, a copy of the Carfax report is attached. and always been garage stored during the 5 years I have owned it, and I was told it had been garage stored prior to my ownership.
There has been far too much work and new parts installed to list everything here for this purpose, but a short summary includes a complete engine overhaul with labor done by a highly respected Virginia Porsche Shop installing all new Porsche seals, bearings, Porsche/Mahle pistons and cylinders (upgraded to the later style Porsche 964 pistons and cylinders with a head gasket) new Porsche oil pump, cylinder heads reconditioned and adapted for use with later style cylinders by Ollies Porsche Engineering in Lake Havasu City, pistons balanced before assembly, Porsche connecting rods reconditioned, balanced, and fitted with ARP rod bolts, Super Tec Performance Head Studs installed, Hargett Billet Aluminum Valve Covers installed, new Porsche distributer, new Beru wire set, new coils, caps, Schnell primary bypass and cat delete (originals are available with the car) and much more.
Also at the same time the car received a set of freshly reconditioned and powder coated Porsche Cup 1 wheels with new center caps and lug nuts, a new set of Z rated performance tires, a full new set of brake pads and rotors, and the Porsche coil over suspension system was upgraded with a new set of Eibach performance Springs, and a new set of Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks and struts.
And finally, the entire car was professionally refinished in the original black with all bumpers, doors, and windows removed for sanding and primer, then multiple coats of paint to achieve the proper thickness. The car has always been garage kept, it always generates compliments. It handles great and is fun to drive, and really runs great.
The new owner will receive copies of myreceipts as full documentation of all the work that has been performed on thecar over the last 5 years I have owned it.

The car looks great and often attracts compliments, and mechanically it is 100% and runs very strong. But with so many other challenges and more pressing priorities in life, there are a few very details related to a few accessories on the car that I just never got around. Now that the car is for sale, I realize many will want everything as close to perfect as possible, so I am working towards checking off the last few minor details.
Initially I considered delaying the sale until all the little details were resolved, but I have since recognized that many who are looking for these older cars might be more concerned with finding a solid car than if the cruise control works, so I have opted to go ahead with the listing. I will continue to address the last details until the car is sold, but for anyone that may be looking for a solid air cooled Porsche 964, perhaps you might want to give some consideration.
The asking price is $49,500 or best reasonable offer, and I am fairly certain this is well below the prevailing market price for a Porsche 911 series 964 Coupe Carrera C2 with the G50 5 speed transmission in this condition.
SOLD Thanks for the interest
