Have too many cars in my stable and regretfully the R8 needs a new home. Adult executive driven and purchased new from Hoehn Audi in north San Diego, the car has been meticulously dealer maintained and received all scheduled maintenance. Always garaged in La Jolla, California, the car's never seen ice or snow, and it's been professionally detailed on a regular basis. The only non-stock modification was the professional installation of a stealth radar/laser detector...I'll locate the brand and model prior to sale. The car has never been tracked and is in top mechanical and cosmetic condition. I love this car and it has roughly 30,000 miles on the clock....you'll find small imperfections commensurate with a super-car of this age and mileage. The car has been trouble free and dead reliable save for one incident on a day-trip to Los Angeles. 65MPH on the highway, loss of RPM, check engine light came on and engine started making an odd noise. Dealer determined that something within the engine let go and per the dealer's advice, the engine was replaced....that was 2,500 miles and a year ago. Full disclosure.
