Time for a bump! Getting a few tire kickers and during those conversations I'm realizing folks are a bit surprised by the Vantage. Here's some points to consider when thinking about buying these cars:
-Vantages are NOT huge. These are not big luxury cars. They ARE luxurious on the inside, with incredible material quality and surprisingly well built even if they are built by hand. But they are not "roomy". More room than an Exige or a Noble? Yes. It's about on par with a 911 on the inside in terms of elbow room. Not a lot, but not too much. It is cozy and once you're settled, a very nice place to be. The seats DO hug you. It is NOT like being in a Cadillac which, I didn't realize, but many people seem to make that assumption. This is a SPORTS CAR, through and through.
-Vantages don't ride like a boat on a cloud. No, these cars are more aggressive than that! The springs I've added "dial it in" but don't really make it any stiffer than it was OEM. You feel the road in an Aston! The steering is dampened quite a bit, but when it comes to the feel in the seat of your pants it is ALL there. Don't forget, the driver's seat is not much more forward of the rear axle than what you see in a Viper. It's a great position, with lots of visibility, and comfortable, but you do feel quite a bit of the ride. It's not harsh, or jarring. But if you walk up expecting a Mercedes or a Cadillac cloud-like ride quality you will be surprised to find a chassis that sometimes feels like it would be quite at home on a track. I've never tracked mine, but some Aston owners do, and seem to enjoy it.

I have found that pictures don't really do the car's proportions justice, car is definitely SMALL and SPORTY! Not a grand tourer at all, yours looks so nice, if I didn't have one already i'd be all over it, some sweet mods on that one!

Update: Clutch has started showing early signs of slippage. SO, I will be getting a fresh clutch installed very soon. If a new owner comes along before I complete the install (very busy with work right now) then you will get the car with a brand new clutch.
Otherwise it'll be sloppy seconds for you if you wait!

New Velocity AP twin disc clutch & lightweight flywheel going in next week, as well as an oil and filter service while she's at the doctor. Wheels, tires, brakes, and most mods have <1000 miles on them. Fresh, fresh, fresh.
Price lowered for a quick sale, $59,500 takes her home.

Bump! New Velocity AP twin-disc clutch and flywheel installed and it is INCREDIBLE! Much lighter pedal effort. Heel-toe is now back to being a no-brainer rather than a "hope this works" move. Can really put the power down now from the other mods.
