Up for sale is the rarest, most collectible mr2 of all time. I have owned 4 other mr2s before this one. This one is by far the best one ever. The first time I heard of this car was over a decade ago and it was on my bucket list of cars to own. There were only 270 of these super editions built and they are extremely hard to come by. It took me several years to find this one as it was only built in Japan. What's so special about the super edition mr2 vs a regular supercharged mr2 is several options from the factory. The super edition mr2 included the following,

-Midnight Blue paint job with gold pinstripes
-Recaro Seats
-Momo steering wheel and shift ****
-Mirrored T-tops
-Super edition badging on the rear valence and sides
-Retractable side view mirrors
-Lsd Transmission
-Polished tear drop rims

This particular Mr2 has all those options except the rims. It currently has an aftermarket momo steering wheel, but will include the original one also. The car has only 87972 Km (54,663 miles!!) This is the vehicles original mileage and comes with a certificate of authentication to prove it. I recently had a full service on the vehicle to refresh it and make sure it is in tip top condition. The car has a brand new oem clutch, slave cylinder, motor mount, fuel filter, fuel lines, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, distributor cap and rotor.

Pertaining to modifications to the car it has a very hard to come by 5zigen exhaust system and enkai rims. The body was professionally detailed and is in great condition with no rust!! Anytime I take the car out it attracts a lot of attention unlike all my other mr2s. The lsd transmission mated to the supercharged motor compliments the vehicle very well.

The car has a clean Texas title and has cleared customs making it completely road legal!

The car is located in Dallas, Texas and is sitting in the garage. I do drive it on the weekends when the weather is nice but didn't want to put to many miles on this gem because of how rare and collectible it is.

so the car is legally titled in Texas with all the paperwork? (US Customs, EPA,Homeland Security, etc...) I had an NA back in the days and it was a lot of fun I bet this one is a blast to drive because of the added power. They are super reliable!

Oh, man! As someone who's owned 6 MK1 MR2's including an '89 Ice Blue Pearl Supercharged, and a MKII Turbo, I hafta say this is THE ONE to have! It's out of my budget for an MR2 for sure, but I hope you get all the money for it! The only suggestion I could make to help with the sale would be to get rid of the aftermarket fog lamps and horns, get it professionally detailed and take tons of pictures the moment it leaves the detail shop. Wouldn't hurt to spraypaint the faded wiper arms black again also. GLWS!!!
