For sale is an impeccably clean black 07 CLK550 with automatic transmission. The car was purchased new as a company car and has been responsibly driven by a retired executive. It currently has approximately 66,500 miles. Mechanical condition is outstanding and the car has been regularly and expertly serviced. The Mercedes ceramic paint is generally in great condition and with the exception of the top of the rear bumper, there are no noticeable scratches or damage. There is one minor ding on the front driver’s quarter panel but it is hardly noticeable. The original 5-spoke Mercedes wheels are free from bends but have some curb rash. The tires are brand new Sumitomo HTR ZIII performance tires.
The car has had regular oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic oil (0w-40) and fleece filters. It has had its transmission fluid changed within the past 10,000 miles and just received an oil change this week. Spark plugs, cabin filters, front brake pads and rotors (akebono ceramic pads and original MB rotors), brake fluid, and engine air filters were recently done. The only issues the car ever experience were bad cam magnets, which were replaced with updated MB parts. This car is not in the cam gear concern production range. The car is mechanically in excellent condition with no leaks (see pics), noises, vibrations, or other maladies. There is a rock chip in the windshield by the wiper resting position, but it has not spread in approximately 2 years.
The beige nappa semi-aniline leather interior is in great shape with some dye loss on the drivers side bolster. The passenger seat was rarely used and is in great shape. Rear seats were never used. Again, interior looks fantastic with no noticeable scratches or damage. Was never smoked in.
This a beautiful, fast, luxurious coupe with an impeccable service record, proven history of reliability, and mature owner. Car is being sold as a new one was purchased in its place.
Good:
Powerful engine and smart shifting transmission with excellent performance
Regular service with top quality parts
Unusually clean and low miles given its age
Bad:
Scratches on top of rear bumper
Slight drivers side bolster wear
Rear pads are at about 35/40%
Approximately one year ago, the car was involved in a minor parking lot incident where an suv backed into the front bumper/grille. The bumper cover and grille were replaced with original Mercedes parts. Accident does not appear on carfax and there are no signs of the incident.
Car is offered at $13,500 firm. Offers accepted but please no low ballers. I’m in no rush to sell and this car is an incredible value.
Please see detailed pictures. I’d be happy to answer any questions or provide pictures and can schedule a meeting to see the car.
Thank you for looking. All the car needs is a new owner.
