Purchased a year ago but just do not use it as the off roader that it was meant to be. I simply drive around the neighborhood and bring my kids to the pool in it or do a grocery store run. Basically taking up space for the use it gets.
Here are the build details from the previous owner:
"1972 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser.
This was restored, upgraded, and modified ....the build was focused on offroad capabilities primarily but the front knuckles were cut and turned {to restore steering chemistry lost during any suspension lift} so street use {if desired or needed} would be safe, reliable, and not wear tires. Sits on 35's.
The drivetrain, suspension, steering, and brakes were rebuilt and recieved upgrades and modifications.... The body was striped to bare steel, all steel winch bumper, swing away spare tire bumper and roll cage were fabricated and all {including floor and dash} were sprayed with self etching primer and metalic brown acrylic enamel.
The list is extensive and basically everything installed was new, I have almost all reciepts for parts installed.
Original inline 6 cyl was completely rebuilt with a towing cam, engine oil cooler, Mallary electronic ignition distributor, 38mm Weber carb, K&N air cleaner, 6 to 1 header, Cherry Bomb glass pack, 3 speed Toyota tranny swapped to 4 speed SM420, 3 speed transfer case to 4 speed transmission conversion kit installed, power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes....stock front discs with rear conversion discs, front shackle reverse, sprung over suspension lift with tall shackels and rearched springs with leaves added,Rancho 5000 shocks, Aisin manual lockout hubs, custom length driveshafts/yokes, mini truck front axles, axle bearings, repacked birfields, ARB air lockers with 4.88:1 Richmond gears front and rear, onboard air compressor and air access fitting, Centerforce II dual friction clutch pressure plate and bearings, high flow all aluminum radiator, clutch fan, 100 amp alternator, painless battery isolator system, dual battery box, dual Optima gell cell batteries, Warn 8274 oil bath 8000lb winch with 95' of 3/8" steel cable, Hella 500 front spot lights, Jeep CJ front bucket and rear seats, Alpine 50watt x 4 high power AM/FM/CD stereo with removable face mated with {1} 250 watt Alpine V12 amplifier and {4} Polk 6x9 speakers. 2 inch reciever hitches built into front and rear bumpers."

Comes with Besttop soft top and full soft doors, bikini top and an original hardtop(not painted same color and needs some refurbish). Also have original 3 spd trans, dizzy and carb as well as many extra leftovers from the build. Hi-Lift jack and custom center console.
Frame is in great shape with some scattered rust bubbles on the body, primarily on driver door sill.The truck fires right up and runs well. Not sure of original miles, but motor was rebuilt during the previous owners build. The truck is located in my garage in Louisville KY. $12,500
