I am in the market for a 928 which is the better years to be looking at? any good or bad advice?

I used to own 1990 S4 and thought that was a good year.
The 1993+ GTS are nice, but was a big premium, and the 1989 and earlier was lighter and no air-bags, so depends on whether you want luxury or pure sporty feel.
