Fs: 997.1tt

Year: 2007
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $79950
Mileage: 56700
Color: Atlas Grey
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: 4WD & AWD

3 year overseas job transfer puts my 2007 997.1TT on the market.
Rare and beautiful Atlas Grey metallic. 6 speed manual with factory sport shifter. PCCB that has amazing feel with no wheel dust. Factory locking rear differential, Sport Chrono/Overboost, Adaptive/Heated Sport Seats, Carbon Fiber interior package.

All stock tune and hardware except the great sounding/lighter Austrian Remus exhaust. This is not the “RACE” version that everybody else has. This is the EU road use approved version (688107 1574) that is no longer available from Remus. It is quieter and ZERO drone with the same high flow cats/performance/great tone, but without the noise. Perfect daily driver.

I didn't want to be stranded hundreds of miles from home, so preventative coolant pipe replacement and welded BBI billet aluminum fittings done locally at Sunnyvale shop with receipts as proof. While motor was dropped, the car got new water pump, alternator, belts/hoses, clutch etc. Will be solid for many years now.

Only mods other than exhaust and coolant pipes/fittings is with the factory Bose system. I couldn’t stand to listen to it anymore and had to replace all of the speakers. Much better detail/clarity and bass with no mods to electricals or vehicle itself. Everything installed into existing format.

Clean CarFax/history with title and passed smog cert already in hand. Have both original keys, all manuals, DME over-rev scan, records etc. Serious inquiries only and no lowball offers. I will store it in my Dad's garage vs. giving it away so don't waste everybody's time please. Thx

Thx. The "high" mileage is what I get back from some as an issue but it is really only about 5100 miles/year. Which is not high use at all. Sure, there are much lower mileage cars out there but those are the ones that would scare me more as a buyer. To me, it means they probably have spent long periods sitting or not been driven aggressively for a long time.

Seen so many times low mileage cars like this develop issues a few times after a new buyer drives it the way its meant to be driven. With a more mid-range car that is driven daily or regularly, you know what you are getting. Any weak links are likely already exposed and/or dealt with. Just my $0.02

Could you please post the VIN, and DME? (Or PM them to me). Also does it come with the stock parts? (exhaust, speakers etc)

The previous owner installed the Tubi exhaust on it and it did not sound right at all on this car and I never liked the 997 OEM tips either. So yanked the Tubi right away and sold it. So no OEM exhaust from me but they show up on ebay from time to time.

I don't have the Bose speakers either. They are such cheap junk I threw them in the trash. Maybe the newer systems are better quality but that older hardware was a sick joke in such a high end car.

DME shows no ignitions in range 5 or 6, so technically could still be a CPO car if newer etc. Only 18 ignitions in range 4 and happened a long time ago at 53 hours. Probably the first time the original owner got after it post breakin and didn't know how to shift properly yet.

Wasn't meant as disrespect, for some reason my brain wants something with sub 40,000 miles but your car really is superb and I'd buy in a heartbeat for a few thousand less. Some videos might do you some good with the sale as I'm sure it sounds awesome.

Also curious on VIN.

I didn't take it like that at all, just pointing out that mileage on these cars IMO is not really a key factor (within reason). Other than the coolant pipe issue possibly showing up over time, these 997.1 drivetrains are virtually bulletproof. A guy has to be a complete idiot or neglect it to do any harm.

We have the exact same cars for sale, with same options and same detailer (AJs). Great mod having the coolant lines done and should give your potential future owners a great peace of mind.

Buy with confidence all. Good luck with sale!

High miles, lol!!! These people need to get their heads checked. Why is it that the nicer the car, where you'd want to drive and be in it all the time, is frowned upon to actually do so?

GLWS, great car!

Atlas Gray might be the best color Porsche ever had in this century. Real bummed they didn't offer the 991 in it.
