She is turning 30 the end of the month and finally wants a porsche to spin around town in since I wont let her drive my GT2...
of course the other day one of my buddies calls and says I saw you driving around town... ummm I thought to myself...... wasnt I at work that day?????

 

Good luck with that color combo,, The C2S is going to hard to find in any combo..But I think that would be one great looking car.

 

Because every family of 3 needs 3 Porsches (assuming your toddler can drive)........

Great car, good luck in your search. I can't think of a name but there is a dealer who kind of specializes in the 97-98 widebodies. Check Dupont registry as I think that may be where I have seen them. Wow, here ya go, this is the dealer. The tip makes me want to cry but...

While at Sebring this past weekend, I spoke with a gentleman that has a concours 97 993C4S Polar Silver with special order (factory color match) red full leather interior that the previous owner requested from the factory (to match his wife's lipstic color). The car has 8,000 miles on it and every possible option avaialble for the 97's. It stickered in late 96 for $104k!!!!!
He was talking about possibly selling it and getting something he can enjoy at the track. If he sold it, he was talking about high $60's low $70's though. Here is a pic of the car I took at a previous event before I had a chance to meet this guy. I can put you in contact with him if you are interested.

Does your wife even know what a 993 is? I'd get her a newer Boxster or 997. No offense but if she doesn't know the difference, you're better off getting a newer car that requires less maintenance and has a warranty.

 

I'd get her a 930 if she wants to get jiggy wid it.
