Ferrari 599 GTB

Year: 2018
Make: Ferrari
Model: 599 GTB Fiorano
Price: $140000
Mileage: 14000
Color: Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Nero (Black) Exterior Black Daytona Seats with silver stitching Carbon Fiber Dash, Doors, Sills, Console, Seats..its everywhere and the factory fire extinguisher was also added as an option. Very clean but having a hard time justifying having this and the DBS in the garage in Texas under covers when I spend 90% of my time in New York.

How does this compare to your DBS?

Comparison

I love both and wish I could justify both but my dbs is 1/21 in the world apparently. Manuals after 2010 were rare with full leather and B&O

in regards to the experience the Ferrari is a blast. Much more responsive and aggressive. The aston is a much more steady stream of power. Handling I've never pushed either hard to be honest as I've barely put a thousand miles on either.

You can't go wrong here but if you get an Aston reach out to me directly. I know more than anyone needs to know but the spec has to be just right for the prices out there.

I have been curious on going with 599 next, but is it any "better" than DB9 GT, Vanquish, or DB11 V12? Or just another flavor of the same thing?

Depreciation
599 - probably close to bottom depending on spec
DB9 GT - pass they will continue to depreciate in that body style - get a Manual DBS if you want to go that route
Vanquish - will depreciate based on just use but I love the Vanquish S, thats a real contender
DB11 V12 - I borrowed one for a week but wasn't for me....I kept finding myself saying great for the wife.

Obviously personal preference and first world problems here but I love the 599 and if I was fearful of being able to replace later I'd keep it....there are juts more of them vs the DBS I have, I kept in touch with the owner of mine for 5 years and his fourth kid finally influenced the sale....not sure I'd ever sell that car.

I don't care about a manual, but Aston depreciation is a concern. I like the looks of the DB9 GT more than DBS. Are you spending about the same on your annual between the DBS and 599?

Scheduled servicing is all I've had to do on either....annually at most. I had a screw lose in the Aston which the dealer did for free and tires on both when I got them to avoid the old tire effect. Id say they've both been great maintained regularly.

My goal is to have an Aston DB9 6SP Manual in Yellow....(check!) and a 599. 2 GT V12's that get driven weekly is the ultimate goal.

I sold my 599 and kept DBS manual. Both great cars but a choice must be made!

I some ways I appreciate my custom BMW 850 6sp the most, such a straight forward and special ride
