Toyota’s FJ40 Land Cruiser has become legendary thanks to its storied reliability and off-road capability. This example was reportedly refurbished in 2020 before being imported from Colombia, South America by the selling dealer in August 2022. The FJ40-series Land Cruiser was launched in 1960. Thanks to simple body-on-frame construction, reasonable dimensions, and a back-to-basics approach in terms of interior and drivetrain, the FJ40 was very competitive in the marketplace. Over the years the Land Cruiser has earned a reputation for incredible reliability and near-indestructibility. That reputation has helped make the FJ40 and its derivatives very popular among off-roaders as well as for military applications. Production carried through 2001 for the Brazilian market, despite ROW production ending in 1984.

It sounds like the car was in great condition and well worth the price. It's always impressive to see a classic vehicle restored to its former glory and it's great to see that there is still a market for these types of vehicles.

It takes a lot of time, effort, and resources to restore a classic car, but it can definitely pay off in the end.

I once saw this Toyota Land Cruiser (J40) parked in the center of my city. To be honest, this car immediately attracts the eye against the background of cars with a more modern design.
