WTB Audi S4 Avant

Hello All,

I am in the market for an Audi S4 Avant with a 6 speed. Specifically I am looking for either a 2001 or 2002 turbo version. I am open to color combos. Please PM me if you have any info on a good example. I would prefer something in California as I am located in the SF Bay Area.

Thanks,

I think there's a couple for sale on www.audizine.com in their classifieds section.
there's a widebody stage III+ out there for sale, also if you want to dive right in.

PM me... Although mine is not "really" for sale I do have many friends in the Audi community that may be looking to move their wagons.

Check Audiworld and Craigslist. Also, have you drive one yet? After owning two B5 S4's, one lightly modified and the other as modified as you can get, I'd recommend a newer car. The B5 is fun to tune, but the chassis and the driveline are really loose, and it's really not a reliable car (blown CV joints, tranny leaks, diff leaks, engine oil leaks, turbos blow, etc.)

I'd recommend driving one, but also looking at the new 2.0t A4 wagon. With a chip it will be faster than a stock B5 S4, with a much better chassis and interior. And, I'm sure in a year or two they'll have big turbo kits for it if you want to do a lot of modding.

Buy a new 4.2 S4 and wait for the APR supercharger this summer.

Thanks guys for all of the feedback. The car is actually for my brother in-law. I think he just likes the look of the B5 more then anything else, but I will let him know of the potential weak points of these cars.

Thanks again,

Good call by the bro-in-law. The Avant is a great wagon and practical too. The newer Avants are roomier and nicer as GoWide mentioned, with fewer issues.
