996 pedals on sale at ebay
Did any body get installation instruction with their pedals. I didn't. Do you leave the stock rubber clutch and break pedal on or do you remove them and just install the new pedals on the bare metal?
No instructions
The ebay auction is done. All 50 sets gone. I paid $79 plus $28 shipping and it got to me before the week was out. Looks well made. But no instructions. I do believe you apply it over the existing rubber. Can one of the guys who have installed and reviewed these pedals previously post a picture of the instructions or give a quick description?
I got my set today. I am very impressed with the product especially for the price!!! I can not believe they got away with using the PORSCHE logo. Anyway the two sets of RUF pedals I installed on my past cars I took off the rubber and drilled through the metal. I used a sharpie to mark the holes. then drilled holes. It does help to have assistance depressing the pedals while you drill. The install is pretty simple.
Finally installed mine. They look nice and egonomically work better for me. Removed the rubber on the brake and clutch pedal. Dead pedal used the sheet metal screws that came with. Gas pedal utilized longer sheet metal screws.

Clarifucation on installation
Uber,
First, my set came with nuts and bolts, not screws. What size screws did you use?
Second, do you not find it odd to heel and toe now that the clutch and brake pedals are slightly deeper (no rubber+less thick) than the gas pedal?
Thanks,
Marv

Marv,
Mine came with 2 small packets. The larger one came with screws, bolts and washers. The smaller one came with sheet metal (or wood screws) for the left dead pedal. Sorry, can't remember what screw length used for e-gas pedal, (3/4"?)
From a novice (still trying to learn, with my size 8.5 shoe) heel and toe'er perspective, I have found that the position is now better as the brake and e-gas are closer to the same plane as you are braking.
As a side note, new dead pedal height feels more comfortable.
Hope this is helpful,
Daryl

If you want the easy way install on top of your factory padels. I install mind without the factory rubber padels, but I find out the aftermarket rubber insert I have to adjust everyweek they slip out abit.
Maybe that why when they post on ebay is recommed with the factory padels on.
