Lease Takeover: 2005 Range Rover LSE (Blue/Tan) $1097/mo., 26 mos
All,
I"ll be putting my wife's 2005 Range Rover on swapalease in the next week but I wanted to gauge interest among the 6speed crowd.
The color is the adriatic blue (midnight blue) with a tan interior with the blue piping.
Great condition, no accidents. SUV is located in LA (Sherman Oaks).
To take over the lease through LR finance, you'd need 700+ credit, no money down, pay a $75 transfer fee, and you'd assume the following terms:
Monthly payment: $1097.06, which includes tax.
After the May payment , there will be 26 payments left on the 39 month lease.
Residual value at the end of the lease is $39,524.55.
Mileage allowance. 10K/year. The SUV currently has about 14K miles, so we're over by about 4K miles. To facilitate a deal, I will pay the person
who takes over the lease for the difference in miles.
(for example, 3000-4000 miles x $.20/mile (that's the
penalty) = $600-800 that I'd pay so that the new owner wouldn't be limited by my excess miles.
Warranty: 4 year / 50000, so the vehicle is covered even after the lease expires.
FYI - the cost of the vehicle was $75150.
It's a great SUV. We'll be putting in new brake pads in the next few days.
Reason for selling: downsizing monthly payments as we look to move into a new house.
Serious inquiries only. If you have questions, you may PM me or email me at chiliran @ yahoo . com.
Thanks all.

I still have this and am again interested in letting it go. $500 incentive to anybody who finds me a qualified person that takes over the lease.
There are two years left. To the extent I'm over the mileage allowance, and I am, I'll pay the new lessee for the excess miles.
Thanks.
If any of you have suggestions or comments, let me know.
