feeler... FS Techart 19" wheels for 996TT
Thanks for the reply Mr. Kram. but if you are not looking to buy please don't give advice on this thread. I have had a few offers but none I was intersted in taking. They are basically worth what someone is willing to pay. Plus these are painted the OEM color which is why I want somewhat of a premium. I do appreciate you comment but it is more appropriate to e-mail privately that type of response. Especially if you already previously own a set and have no intention of buying....
No disrespect to you. I'm just providing some data so people here can make an informed decision. From a buyer's perspective you'd probably appreciate the same sort of advice. However, you are correct in stating that your wheels are worth whatever someone else will pay for them.

Not trying to be a jerk... but your post may have just cost me a few hundred dollars.... how would you feel?
str8blst,
I am looking for a set of wide body 19's, not really T/A's due the the weight, but may be interested at the right price. I believe infomation that other serious buyers may request is, what is normal wear and tear for a set of $3000 wheels? How new are the 2000 mile rear and 75% new front tires? What's the tread depth? What is the brand of tires? Can you post up close pictures of each wheel and tire tread? What kind of paint was used in the premium valued OEM color?
BTW- If someone is assisting other board members with useful info (price, defects, weights, sizes) this helps the seller and the buyer. Anyone looking to buy a good set of T/A's would have already searched the board and know what the going rate is. Parts for these cars are expensive and sometimes even used parts demand premium prices. I don't think the looker backed out because someone hijacked your thread stating that at one time, a little while ago (in a galaxy far, far away) someone bought some perfect Tech Art's cheaper! Everyone has a different meaning for words like "new", "perfect", "flawless", so post some good pictures and sell them at a price your comfortable with. The wheels are yours until you sell them! To tell you the truth, what really made me question the wheels were the price drops before Mr. Krams comments! Yes, it got my attention but also made me wonder!

I had offers close to my asking price but for one reason or another buyers backed out. Now after reading your brainy post I think I will have a hard time convincing others to pay my asking $$$$. If you don't like a price fine... just keep it to yourself... this is a F/S forum. Not a advice forum...

Thanks for the comments Zona. I'll keep this post about the wheels. They are about 95% perfect. I can take some pictures tomorrow and post them up ASAP. I'll try and address your questions with pictures. Price drop was only because I found another set of wheels I like more and not because there are any defects or concerns about these wheels. Buyer will not be disapointed.
