Well upon moving back to TX I realize that I can't use Eric's plugs anymore and need to reattach the front license plate but I've thrown away the front bracket thingy that came with the car.

Anybody have an extra one or one that they don't use? I'll paypal you some dough for the shipping.

i think it's less than 20 dollars from the dealer. you have to buy a plate, and two posts.

 

Cops are pretty lenient about that here. I've been running plateless for 11 yrs without issues.

 

i was hoping that but wanted to have one atleast in the car with me to diffuse any situation and then be able to put it on immediately rather than have to wait a week or so on shipping since I'm in the middle of West TX and have to rely on the pony express

 

I wouldn't push it. While you won't get pulled over for not having front plates, you will eventually get a ticket if you park your car in the streets. Especially here in CA...
