FS: 350+HP Volkswagen GTI
Damnet I want this car so bad. Maybe I'll be able to sell mine if something materializes quickly I'll let you know. What bike?? It may be a little north of your range but you should look at the Mv Agusta that's for sale on this forum. 14k I think is asking which is a steal and it's the coolest bike you'll find.
great car... great mods... from what i've read, you DO know the best parts for the VW. i've always liked the 337. no sun roof unlike the 20th editions that came out.. those RCs are my favorite!!!!!!!
if you go lower on the price, let me know... even at 20k, that is a good deal...
but i'm broke and can't afford the car at 20k....
how much mileage are you getting at the tank???
any other known issues with this car??? coil packs replaced???window regulators working correctly???
i've owned an MKiV which i miss dearly. what kind of front mount are you running??
you have ALL records of this badboy? who has done all the servicing????
PM me with answers if you'd like.

TTMotion...I would promptly remove my left ******** for the MV Agusta
, however, it is somewhat out of the range I am looking to spend at this time. Let me know if anything materializes with your GLI.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone,
Peter

chbak014...thanks for you comments. i do always try and do a lot of research before i buy anything for the cars, and the GTI is no exception. I believe that everything on that car is of the upmost quality and I know it was installed correctly...by ME
.
To answer your questions:
1) Driving modestly, the range is about 250 miles give or take although that is just a guess because I never like to get much below a half to avoid any issues with condensation in the tank.
2) Coil packs replaced by me about 2 years ago...no other issues.
3) Window regs also replaced by me appx. 2 years ago.
4) Front mount is a Eurojet. After doing all me reseach I think it was the best kit available at the time and still is very competitive as far as technology. The nitrous is also very handy (and fun) for cooling the IC on hot days.
5) I have all receipts from purchases for the car. As you can see in the pictures, our garage is like a mini Porsche/Audi/VW dealership in itself. I have done all services on the car myself including Mobil 1 every 2-3K miles. The only problems the car has had to date are the coil packs and window regs and I was allowed to pick those items up from the dealership and install myself. The car only has 17K miles so naturally there have been NO real issues to speak of.
I know this car like the back of my hand and have had the pleasure of closely examining almost all aspects of the "guts" of the car. I would recommend that anyone who purchases this vehicle that you possess at least basic mechanical ability so that you will be able to play with the turbo/IC/software, etc.
PM me if you would like to make an offer. I think that 20K is very fair, but let me know what you are thinking. Thanks,
Peter

can you say BOOOOST?

Not going to slide around in this baby:

Trunk: (This is a false floor that I built...see next photo)

Whats that?

The false floor allows for the tank, but still maintains usage for the hatch.

TTMotion...no head unit. I originally had a fancy in dash DVD unit that weighed a **** ton with the brain and all the amps, so I removed it. Now, as you can see in the pics there is an equalizer that is connected to the MTX amp in the back, which powers the MB Quartz. Sound is great. The equalizer is hooked up to a dension ipod connected. Pretty slick little contraption if you ask me. Thanks,
Peter
