Man, thats a great deal. It's still more than $20 though. Well you over paid 5 times according to the guy who said they bring $20. We all get screwd once in a while I guess?

In no way do I mean to low ball you, just for me, they have little value. On Ebay, from time to time they will fetch anywhere from $100 to $300...but as with most cab owners, they end up in the back of the garage never being used, just getting in the way.

Auto Dismantlers in Sunland has 15 of them in stock, every color. They usually get ~ $250. You might try them, but they are probably gonna offer you about the same amount as I am.

Best of Luck, Tom
When someone calls you and offers you 3 Porsche hardtops for free you should take them. You could sell them for $20 dollars each. You could make it a profession and over time you will be rolling in the dough! I must admit you cracked me up on this one. You have to get a "E" for EFFORT!

I think the point of the $20 offer is that they are pretty much worthless. They're all over the place and it would cost a small fortune to ship one. So, you need to find another cab owner that doesn't have one that wants one, in the same color, and it needs to be a local pickup.... The chances of actually selling it for any decent money is slim. If you want it out of your garage, $20 is better than nothing

I sold mine a few months ago for $250. I was happy with the price after months with no offers and the buyer got a perfect top.

Yeah, I love it! It transforms the car. I also liked the price of $250 that you sold it to me for.

Thanks, Paul

I can get one in Miami right now with the stand and cover for $250. They were selling it on ebay for $700. My counter offer will be $200.

Lord -

Was this sold? I may be interested, though I'm not sure how I'd get it over to the NE . . .

Eric -

I still have it. Will probably cost too much to ship it there though.

What year vehicle did the hardtop belong to? There were a couple of hardware changes made to the 996 hardtops between 99 and 2004.
