FS: Sachs 999 Clutch and lt. wt. flywheel
FS: Sachs 999 Clutch and lt. wt. flywheel
I had this set up in my car when it made 580 to the wheels and never had any problems. After my last series of modifications (full Protomotive fuel system and tuning by Todd K. on his dyno) my car is now making 650 to the wheels and I noticed just a tiny bit of slipping.
Hence I am upgrading to an ATS triple carbon fiber set up.
We just pulled the entire set up out of the car and it is in excellent condition.
It is perfect for anyone with a stage 3-GT 650 set up that needs to upgrade their clutch and flywheel.
$675 takes it.

Hey all.
I promised it to Miles already. However, I took a close look at it last night...there is a very, very tiny bit of glazing on the pressure plate and a couple of slight heat spots. My mechanic, Tommy Bahn (that Tommy Bahn...the holder of the world record for the Texas mile...228 mph) is 100% sure that this clutch will be totally reliable for up to 580 rwhp. It ran perfectly on my car when it made 580 to the wheels. It just starts to reach its limits at 650 rwhp. Tommy also thinks that I should sell it for more than $675 (it retailed for over 2K) which is probably why I have gotten so many PM's.
I just want to be completely honest so that there are no surprises. I sent this info to Miles, and if he changes his mind I will sell to the next person (Derek or Scott). I will sell w/ the following promise: $475 plus shipping up front and the balance after the clutch is installed and the buyer is 100% happy. I would never risk my rep on 6 speed over a few hundred bucks.
I am heading out to Texas world Speedway tonight so I won't have access to my comp for 2 days but I will have my wife check my PM's.
