I believe that those are copies. I just purchased a set recently. When I was looking, I asked him alot of questions. He told me they were copies. I don't know why he doesn't have that in his add. He's probably trying to stick someone with them. I know that they are rare, so people get really excited when they see a set come up for sale.

Those looks real to me. I have a set sitting right here. Ask him to take pics of the inside of the wheels which should label Ruf made in Italy. And here are the parts number for verification:

R96 362 12010
R96 362 11710

I would confirm this before posting it... Can you click the link and confirm that the same seller for the listing in question stated they were copies?... Someone is really getting screwed for that price if they aren't real.

more then that

closer to 4500+ shipping, + tires, I think we could easily hit north of 6K and just trying to avoid that. Also they have no rears in stock, waiting for them from germay I was told.

Look to be pretty good knockoffs:
http://www.wheeldynamics.net/Wheels.html

This place is just down the street from me so perhaps I'll drop by and check them out / see if they have a sample in stock. Available in May.
