They'll look good, but better with the front. The techart rear doesn't make too much difference. You can get the sides cheap and then buy the front lip with the money you saved.

Pair the TA skirts w/ the reasoanbly priced 997 GT3 bumper and you have a nice upgrade for a reasonable price still if you don't want to drop the money on the TA front

Go for it Jay! I just got these sideskirts on my 997 and I love them. I do have the GT3 front bumper but it would still look nice without it.

Here are some pics of my C2S with these sideskirts on them:

Going for it.

Dark Knight - do you know if that bumper on ebay is OEM? seems like a damn good price for OEM. if not, I'd rather buy the suncoast oem gt3 bumper.

I've already pm-ed mark for the TA sideskirts.

I'm shopping for P43 HRE MONOBLOK black satin wheels. Anyone know where I can score a hot deal on those? They're like 8k new w/ tires.

Tks,
Jay

Jay, I'm 99% certain those are not OEM, so if you are worried about fit/finish/quality, spend a little more and go with the Suncoast ones. They had a sale a week or 2 ago and they were cheap!

I definitely do not think it's OEM! It is made of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) not Polyurethane (PU). You might be able to spot a good used OEM one around if you look, if not get the new OEM one to complete the look.

JAy, just get the suncoast bumper. It's a little more but the fit is so perfect, and the material is OEM.

Dumb question, do the sideskirts just bolt-on? Looking at the body diagrams, it looks like it. But I heard there are several weld points along them and underneath....

Definitely not a dumb question. They are made of Polyurethane. On the 996 they screw in at the bottom, bolt inside the rear wheel well in place of the factory mud flaps and are attached with industrial double-sided tape at the top edge. I would think the 997's use a similar method.
