Smile

I have a brand new set assembled, never installed. Decided to stay stock,
so I can sell them for $9000 complete. They are black leather and alcantera cushions. I no longer have the boxes so will have to have some made for shipping. If there is any interest I can send pics by e-mail.
Thanks

Wow, too much for my wallet. Why did you want to stay stock? Good luck though.

Kevin (?), your post from November 13 stated you were looking for a set of these seats however they are a "hard find". As you know they are based on the CGT seat and irrationally priced as compared to any other Porsche seat including the 997 GT2 seat which are 40% lower priced. Suncoast who are very competitive with their pricing on most everything Porsche has new 997 Euro GT3 seats for about $11K. The lowest price I've seen is $5,800 for a used set of Euro GT3 RS seats in perlon / nylon. At $9K for a set of brand new seats in leather / alcantara isn't that about market value?

You didn't understand my reply. I didn't say your price is high. I just said it was too much for me right now. When the time comes I will get mine through a hookup from a friend that works for Porsche.

Unhappy

I decided since I was so slow on track, and the car is so comfortable with the stock seats to stay with the stock setup. Easier to get to the rear area for storage of soft luggage when traveling. Also, since I am 61yrs old with a rapidly deteriorating lumbar, I might not be able to get into the car with the fixed seats and high butt bolsters, although they work fine in the living room! JK, they have been in my air conditioned doghouse since purchase. As have I, on a few nights.

Its not my price, I'm a buyer not the seller - I'm just trying to understand your posts on the thread I started to locate a pair of these seats. On November 13 you posted you were looking for a set of these seats and they are a tough find, then on November 14 you posted you were looking for a set in leather & alcantara. Now your post states you aren't in the market but can get a set any time from your pal at Porsche for more than 20% less than Suncoast sells them for. Got it.

Then I'll change what I said. Mojo's price is fair but again it's still too high for me at the moment because I can get these for cheaper. And I'm not saying that Mojo is ripping off others. As a matter of fact, it is a good price if you compare it to Suncoast. All I'm saying is that if I can find a set that are cheaper than the ones my buddy can sell to me, then I'm all for it. Got it.

Talking

The price I include having wooden shipping crates made to bolt the seats to and protect them from possible shipping damage. As I am not at all handy with wood, I would have to get a carpenter to build the boxes. The reason I woul use wood is the original cardboard/wood bottom boxes they arrived in did not fare well in shipping, although no damage occured to the seat shells. Now that they are assembled, a crate to bolt them to makes more sense than cardboard.

I've got quota from a Canada dealer, a pair of 7GT3 euro seats for $13600 CAD + tax. With today exchange rate, mojom3's seats are $2.3K less which I think is fair price.
