With regard to brake rotors and pads, "mint condition" implies brand-new-in-the-box. The link provided to you is not a crazy price for a mint condition PCCB kit with everything. That's a $1000 discount off MSRP.

After you install the PCCB, you can sell your stock brakes, which is a nice upgrade for many lesser cars, to recover a decent percentage of the cost of the PCCB. Your best option, of course, would have been to simply order the option with the car, saving you about half the cost.

PCCB from the GT3s and GT2s do not fit the other Porsches (TT, Cayman, Carrera, etc.)

Depends on whether 'fabricating custom rotor hats', 'machining spindles and calipers', or 'custom length through-bolts and spacers' fits your definition of 'little mods'.

GT3/GT2 PCCB don't fit the 997Turbo/Carrera/Cayman/Boxster.

New uprights, new drop links are needed for the conversion. So, add $4,000 on parts plus labor, on top of the PCCB cost.
