I am removing my Light Weight Flywheel from my 3.4 996 because I am putting it back to stock to sell. Flywheel have about 7k miles on it. I purchased it for close to $1000 less than a year ago. Selling it for $650 obo plus shipping. I believe these weight 12lbs. much improvement in the acceleration dept and changes the characteristic of the car.

is this flywheel designed only for the 3.4s and not the 3.6s?

 

They are both the same. I have a 3.4 and I am positive that the 3.6 uses the same 8 bolt flywheel. Only the turbos and GT3 uses 9 bolt ones. Here is a link for reference.
