What's the problem with answering such a basic question? Let me guess, the exhaust has 99,999 miles?!?!

 

You should start your own post about your exhaust and not use this one.

 

Sorry to be so slow, I sleep!! @4500 miles. I would start my own thread but the 100 post thing and I have only @60 and since I am not a post ***** and only post when I have something to ask or say it is taking time to get to 100. Thanks for the inquiry.

I see your point, but there is a reason you must have 100 posts to list an item. Listing your item on someone else's post is not appropriate. I"m not trying to be a hardass with you, but you'll see what I mean when someone jacks your for sale thread. Take care.

 

Im sorry, 100 posts serves what point? Thats why there are moderators. He already sold his so how is this tampering with his sale? I dont mean to come across hostile but to be a post ***** just to get to 100 serves what purpose? I have been on the forum awhile and contribute or ask questions when relevent not just to get to a number. I hate when I am trying to read a good thread and see people injecting verble vomit just to get a post in. In regards to the thread, I hope I helped Naptownmike with an exhaust as it helped me and made the forum benefit people as it was designed to do. I guess I cant see a negative in that. Maybe I am wrong in my thinking and if thats the case I apologize.

 

I understand where you're coming from and you don't sound hostile. My understanding regarding the 100 post requirement is to have members establish a history on this site so someone won't join one day, list a part for sale, then disappear the next day after collecting money. You're right, it takes a while to get 100 posts, unless as you said, someone posts a bunch of meaningless replies.

 

you do realize that if you don't have 100 posts you can ask for approval from a mod rather than posting against the rules which will get you attention you don't want...also, posting your own classified in someone else's thread is also against the rules whether the original item has sold or not...it is jut a way for a low poster to get around the software that prevents them from starting their own classified in the first place..
