FS: Mint 996 TT OEM seats

I have a set of mint black seats out of a 996 TT that were taken out at very low miles. These easily bolt into 996 or pre 05 Boxsters. These are close to being new with "almost" no wear marks/stress on the side bolsters and seat cushions. Seats are a bit dusty in the pictures right now. Comes with only one seat belt receptacle. You can use your existing one from your old seats as I lost one of my original ones.

Full Power: Yes (factory option price $1520)
Heated: Yes (factory option price $400)
Porsche crest: Yes (factory option price $198)
Lumbar support: Yes (I think this is the third round control ****? $375)

Asking $850 OBO + shipping. The price of the options alone total $2,493.

I will get back to everyone in regards to shipping costs. I will try to get qoutes from UPS, Purolator and Greyhound. Please "post" your zip code and also PM me your email and phone number so that I can contact you.

996garage - Thank you for the offer and I will consider if these don't sell, although there are a few interested parties right now.

My apologies on the delay, I won't have time until the weekend to get quotes for everyone.

For the Canadians on 6speed it looks like I can ship via Greyhound for about $220 insured.

make sure you package them babies good as they have a tendency to "disappear" while intransit.....ask me how I know.

What do you mean? Via Greyhound, UPS or Purolator? Did you purchase insurance? I had these shipped from LA no problem last year.

FedEx - they were shipped from NJ to CA and never made it. FedEx says it happens all the time.

Yes, did get most of our money back but I was out an excellent set of sport seats.......needless to say I was livid.

FedEx...

FedEx doesn't try that hard. What IS good about their system is that you can track the shipment fairly accurately. I lost an expensive wheel+tire and it was obvious it never got out of one particular terminal. FedEx couldn't have cared less about my request that they contact the people at the particular terminal... until I climbed the food chain to the regional VP.. and they were heavily insured. Suddenly they paid attention and I got my wheel-tire.

I would hate to think on Greyhound.. but their prices are good.. if you can insure well.
Just FYI

and beware that FedEx uses contractors at the destination city for large items. they said - "we have no control what happens then". UPS does not.

We did get 85% of our money back (4 weeks later). But the fact remained, I was out the seats and had to start that search all over again.

recommendation - use UPS. And box them up - so no one can see what you are shipping.
