Anyone Selling 10 Spoke 996 GT2 Wheels?
There's a set on fleeBay for sale (no affiliation): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3AIT&viewitem=
Those wheels have "sold" twice on ebay already, yet the same seller keeps relisting them. it seems obvious that he is likely having his friends bid on them to try to get the price up. I personally wouldn't not buy them just based on the shadiness of this guy. There is another thread on here about them where it seemed like a 6speeder was outbid last second, the wheels didn't trade and were quickly relisted at a higher price.
I would love a set of these myself, but i won't buy them from this character.

They both have the same design and one can't tell the difference by just looking at the wheels, you would have to look at the markings inside the wheel to tell which is which or just measure them.
The 996 Turbo and 996 C4s had an option for the "GT3 style" wheels, and they are 18x8 and 18x11.
Now the 996 GT2 had the same regular style wheels (Turbo Twist) which came on all 996 Turbos and 996 C4s's, but in 2004 and in 2005 all the GT2's got the same "GT3 style" as the 996 Turbo and C4s but they are 18x8.5 and 18x12 with GT2 offsets (+40, +45) instead of the Turbo offsets.
So the only difference between the "GT3 style" Turbo wheels and the "GT3 style" GT2 wheels is the HALF INCH larger size of the GT2 wheels and the different offsets.

I think maybe the 290.00 shipping charge is scaring off buyers who didn't read the fine print......

I pretty much give up trying to find these wheels, they seem as rare as some diamonds I've seen in person.... But atleast I found some regular Turbo style GT2 wheels for sale...

Did you ask the guys in Culver City if they had any - Wheel Enhancement?? They show them on their web page and you're not too far away.
