getting specs for you

I should have gotten all the specs before posting the FS - sorry about that.

I've sent email to Alex at Sharkwerks who spec'd and ordered the wheels from HRE for me. I should have details back from him when he's back at work early in the week. I will post as soon as I get them.

Thanks for the interest.

Those actually look like C93's with the divits in the spokes. Even lighter than C21's....could be wrong though!

Jason -

Good catch, my brain fade. I recalled them being C21 style, and now that I've looked at the invoice they are indeed the spoke-and-hub-lightened C93's. When I swapped them onto my car originally, with the same tires, unsprung weight was reduced by 34 pounds compared to the stock RS wheels. also, checking my invoice, I paid $5,980.00 for these wheels on 3/26/08.

I believe gt3rs wheels will fit a 997tt, but not a 996tt without spacers.
Interesting rims though!

I'll be getting the exact offset specs later today, but Alex at Sharkwerks replied to me over the weekend that he had these built with +8mm in the rear to eliminate need for spacers and +3 on the front because it fits and works great there.

As for 996 widebody fitment, I'll confirm one more time, but I'm 99.5% sure that they'll fit the 996 sidebody no problem.

I believe you'll need a 10mm spacer up front and maybe a 25mm+ on the rear to look good on a 996TT.

So, the answer is? Yes or no on a widebody 996 without spacers?

Thanks,
