I just replaced my 996TT's stock 6-speed shift assembly with the 997 one... Gotta say, all the reviews are correct--it's a shorter, more direct-feeling shift

I am selling the 996 assembly which I removed in case someone wants to go back to stock and needs one for cheap. The part number is 996.421.010.04

I will include the "neutral aligning clip" (that green part that came with the 997 assembly to ensure the shifter is in neutral when connecting the cables). The assembly is in great condition, could probably be lubed, but otherwise appears perfect.
