Hmmm.... Not sure about that. I have nothing to hide, but being a used part, and at a pretty cheap price, I guess I consider it an as-is sale with no warranty.

I don't think you will find a better price on a used pair of k16's as far as what I have seen.

It is a good price if they're in good condition but not a good price for two paperweights.

Asking for a refund if an item is DOA isn't asking for a warranty.
Now I'm a little slow what with Mississippi's education system and all, so let me see if I've got this right, Your saying "trust me the turbos are good, but if they're not.. sorry- as-is, buyer beware"

 

is it possible for me or someone to check the shaft play visually? I do not personally know how to do it.....

LOL you guys drive a hard bargain! Just as an FYI, I can vouch for flash68... I'm sure if they're "no good" he'd take them back. Having said that the last time I saw his car it was running perfectly (before his upgrade) and there was no "extra" smoke etc...

Alex, do you remember a time not so long ago we would have gladly paid 3 times that price just to rebuild them?!

I know you are just trying to cover your end of it fishez so don't take my post the wrong way - I just can't believe someone hasn't snatched these up... Hell, if I had a place to stick them on my car I'd buy them just as cheap insurance!

I'll say this one more time:
I'm ready to buy the turbo's and have them rebuilt.. But I'm not buying $300 worth of paperweights. All I want is his word that if the turbos are unrebuildable/worthless upon visual inspection, a refund will be offered.
Clearly flash68 has been around the block here and is indeed a standup guy but I've been burnt far too many times to blindly send out money without a clear understanding between the seller and I.
