Looking for a used set of track wheels with or without tires for a 996tt that clear Brembos up front.

same as you saw on my car, front tires have about 40% and rears 20%. i will let you know for sure after porschearama this weekend.

I have a set of factory GT3 wheels (996tt offset versions, 8&11s) for sale. Already asked VSEChuck to approve an ad for me. PM me for details.

 

I have stock wheels sitting around too, but I dont think the 355 Brembos clear, do they? If so I would just put tires on them and run them.

Same question do the Brembo 355 clear? If they are 18's with the same offsets for a turbo I dont think they are going to work.

 

Good question. They clear the factory 6-pot caliper w/ 350mm rotors (PCCB setup). Im pretty sure there was at least another 2.5mm of clearance between the caliper & inside of the wheel to run a slightly larger rotor (thats assuming the 355 caliper isn't taller than the factory one). Not sure how much clearance there was between the caliper and the spokes though. That might be different than the stock twists due to the shape of the petals, it might not.

Try your stock twists and see what (if anything) touches. I have a set of those too and could measure if the GT3s are different somewhere.
