Don't know how old these tires are, but it's a smoking price. Got two on the way.

315/25/19 Conti's
I ordered and already received a set and they are brand new and in great condition. No cracks or blemishes. I'm actually thinking of grabbing a second pair at these prices.
I have a set also
Great deal, he said he bought out a supplier that went out of business. They are brand new, the guy said he had 70 or more of these tires I think they are stamped 2007 or 2008.

I just ordered a pair over the phone. They said they have a bunch more.
NOTE - 5% DISCOUNT!!!
If you order over the phone with a credit card the seller avoids some eBay and PayPal fees, part of which they pass on to you in the form of a 5% discount. So a pair of tires purchased this way, including shipping, is $415.90.

You can't buy ONE tire for that price from Tire Rack!

The age of these tires?
Hey I am looking at buying a set of these conti's vyc wont give me the age of them. Can any of you who have purchased them give me the tire id number it is on one of the side walls
Tire Identification Numbers will be a combination of the letters DOT, followed by ten, eleven or twelve letters and/or numbers that identify the manufacturing location, tire size and manufacturer's code, along with the week and year the tire was manufactured.
Thanks Scott

I will look when I get home from work for the year
I have been running these for over a month now, I will look at the tire later, the tire shop that installed them said that it was a great deal he quoted me twice the price so I had him just install the tires for me and I did CC over the phone to save 5% also.
I did a search on their eBay store. They have over 6,000 advertisements on there! This outfit mostly deals in used tires though. I was looking for a matching 19" tire in 225 width for the front and could not find anything.

I got my set. Can't read both dates since they're wrapped together. At least one of them has a "2005" on it.
While I've read some stuff about "old" tires, I can't really figure out what the implication is.

Gosh, I personally wouldn't really worry about tires just a few years old. I mean sure when they get to be 20 years old or so the rubber can get pretty hard, but after just a few years I would hope the material is just fine. Are there volatile compounds in the rubber that one really needs to worry about if they're just sitting on a shelf? In the grand scheme of things I think that it's doubtful that it would have any significant impact.
